EarthWorks is a four-day career exploration and service learning program for selected high school sophomores and juniors interested in science and protecting the environment. Students learn from professionals in earth, water, atmosphere, education and space-related fields who contribute to the health and preservation of our home, Earth.
The program pilot was funded, in part, by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Metropolitan Water District, and REI. This program will continue to be offered at Blue sky Meadow annually. For more information, contact the Los Angeles County Education Foundation office at (562) 940-1602. |
